A perfect day - new CDs coming in, new book. So I'm out there on the swing at the edge of the garden. I'm reading newbook - (which sucks a little bit), but still new and some new funny stuff about Frank Sinatra. New CDs - Diva Jazz - TNT - Tribute to Tommy Newsom. Saw them with Cleo Lane last year and they JUST SWUNG. Susannah McCorkle - I'll Take Romance one great choice after another. And a new-to-me (they all are) John Pizzarelli Meets the Beatles. Who could ask for anything more? (I know - they didn't write that one) But seriously - Love him, Love them! And all through the day - speaking of Pizz, a new Radio Deluxe - my new best friends (I'm sad) John Pizzarelli and his singin' adorable wife Jessica Molaskey samba-ing all over the place this week from "high atop Lexington Avenue". Just bury me in that swing...
